Practice Addresses
Clinics in Rainham and
Ashford, Kent
Welcome
I have spent over 20 years on osteopathic practice around Kent in Ashford and Rainham.
Growing up in Tunbridge Wells, always knowing I wanted to be involved with healthcare, I first came across osteopathy in my teens when I was diagnosed with, and treated for, a mild curvature of the spine. Impressed with the visible change in both the shape and function of my spinal curves, and struck by the range of osteopathic techniques, which could at times be so gentle and yet so effective, I saw my future career path open up in front of me and I determined to join the profession. I completed my osteopathic degree in 2002, instilled with the vision of patient centred care and the broad range of both structural and cranial techniques taught by the European School of Osteopathy.
In practice life, I have never wavered from the belief that the best treatment results come when you the patient are considered as a whole, not just a collection of symptoms to be managed. Each of you are individuals, with individual needs, and no two of you will respond identically to identical treatments, no matter how similar the pains you are experiencing might be.
This continues to be reflected in my continuing professional development. I have attended courses not only to improve my skills with joint manipulation, but have also completed several post graduate cranial courses to develop my skills in this area.
In this way I believe I can provide you with the best possible care, advice and support, tailoring your treatments to meet your individual needs, with the most appropriate techniques, be they muscle stretching and massage, joint mobilisation and manipulation, or gentle cranial and functional techniques (often referred to as cranial osteopathy).
To this day, if anyone asks me, I still cannot see myself in any other profession and I remain as committed as ever to providing you with the best possible osteopathic care so that you don’t have to suffer pain unnecessarily.

TESTIMONIALS“I have been receiving treatment from Steve for about five years. Steve is polite, friendly and professional, he treats me with dignity and respect. Steve takes time to understand the background of my condition, he will then explain not only the treatment that I will receive but the reason behind this – I would definitely recommend him.” Claire H (Cheriton) |
